Indudablemente, quienes hemos tenido un compromiso por la Verdad y la Justicia, nos hemos sentido golpeados por le fallecimiento de Patricia Verdugo. Seguramente, de parte de muchos estamentos de la sociedad, se le rendirán honores y se le recordará, pero no me cabe la menor duda que la máxima distinción que se le pueda otorgar a esta noble mujer, será el recuerdo imperecedero que tendrá en todos y cada uno de los que hemos leído sus escritos y sus libros. Punto aparte es el libro "Los zarpazos del Puma", donde se describe toda la atrocidad que cometió la "Caravana de la Muerte" en su recorrido por el país, regando de sangre nuestra tierra y nuestros recuerdos; ese libro ha sido el más pirateado nunca y eso habla de la gran cantidad de personas que lo han leído.
