Los días 8, 9 y 10 de febrero cincuenta poetas provenientes de Santiago hasta Puerto Montt, se verán las caras y leerán las líneas literarias en la ciudad de La Unión.
El Encuentro Nacional de Poesía está organizado por el Centro Cultural "Arte Nuevo", dirigido por Pilar Rodríguez; Revista Literaria "La Locomotora" dirigida por Cristián Ruiz y coordinado por Riesgo País.
Todo comenzará en la plaza de la ciudad el día 8 de febrero con un recital poético y música, para luego iniciar el recorrido por las diferentes poblaciones elegidas para la ocasión, a fin de que cantautores y músicos, acompañando a los declamadores, inviten a los vecinos a participar y encantarse con la poesía y los versos.
La jornada se trasladará el día 9 a Puerto Trumao realizando la misma actividad del día anterior, además de un evento con intervenciones de los distintos invitados del país, destacando la presencia de poetas valdivianos y santiaguinos.
